Welcome to the 27th Annual Trappings of the American West
The Dry Creek Arts Fellowship invites you to take part in a celebration that honors the work of 72 artists from 15 Western states, including Hawaii, chosen for their outstanding skills of mastered artistic excellence. Trappings of the American West is a contemporary sales exhibition that combines fine and functional art of the American West – on foot and horseback. With its collective presence, Trappings evokes the adventurous hero – the real and imaginary cowboy, who lives not only in song and story, but from an artist’s pen and brush. From beautifully tooled saddles to engraved spurs, the artwork found in Trappings is authentic, functional, and contemporary.
